Courtney Beach - Assistant Principal

I am so excited to join the Kelly Mill family!

I am originally from Ohio but had the pleasure of attending schools in the Netherlands and in England. After graduating from the American School in London, I returned to Ohio, where I attended Ohio Wesleyan University. After graduation, I moved to Georgia to be closer to family and obtained my Master of Education from Mercer University. Currently, I am working toward my Specialist Degree at the University of North Georgia. I began my teaching career in Fulton County Schools and was named Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2010. I have also had the pleasure of serving as a Graduation Coach and Program Specialist for the Office of Student Discipline. I also served as Assistant Principal for an elementary school for just under seven years.

My husband and I are blessed with two wonderful children who both attended Kelly Mill.  My son, Brady, is now a sophomore at West Forsyth and my daughter, Rowan, is a 7th grader at Hendricks Middle School.

I look forward to a fantastic year as a Kelly Mill and am excited to begin collaborating with staff, parents, and students to support and serve the community in the years ahead.
