My name is Keisha Moore and I am the proud Counseling Department Chair of Lambert High School!

I am originally from Peekskill New York, but I was raised in Miami Florida.  Growing up I attended Miami Dade County Public Schools, which I am proud to say paved the way for my professional success.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University, where I was also a full scholarship athlete in basketball.

After working in Corporate America for one year after undergrad, I pursued and obtained my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Clark Atlanta University. I’ve served as a Professional School Counselor on the high school level in Fulton County Schools for 14 years prior to embarking on this wonderful journey at Lambert in the Fall of 2018.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Casey, and our two wonderful children, Brighton and Braven. 😊 I also look forward to outings with family and friends, watching and attending sporting events, and playing rec league basketball.

My role as a Professional School Counselor has truly been rewarding and I’m excited to be working with students, teachers, the administrative team, and parents who are vested in educational success! My belief is to always encourage all students to strive to achieve their goals!

Wishing everyone a great school year!

Hi everyone! My name is Bianca Avila and I have been working with high school students for several years, but this will be my first year as a School Counselor. I am originally from Chicago, where I was born and raised before making my transition to Georgia 5 years ago. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Georgia State University.

Before joining Lambert High School, I worked in higher education as an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor and Dual Enrollment Specialist. While in Chicago, I worked for a non-profit organization that focused on supporting first-generation, low-income students with college access and success to several highly competitive universities across the country.

Being a School Counselor is the dream and I am excited to start my counseling career with Lambert High School! I am passionate about supporting students from all backgrounds and being the best resource possible to all my students, families, and colleagues. In my spare time, I love to travel and spend time with my family.

I cannot wait to meet you! Please contact me should you need any support.

Hello, my name is Mandy Malcolm, and I'm proud to be a part of the Lambert Counseling Team.

I'm a Georgia native, and in 1993, I graduated from North Georgia College, in Dahlonega Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  I taught 4th and 5th grade Language Arts for four years in Dade County, Georgia before completing a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of Tennessee in 1999.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, son and our dog Max. I'm a mom of two teenagers, so life is busy and there's never a dull moment! I  also love watching college football...Go Tigers!!!

I am excited to be back at Lambert for my third year as a high school counselor, and my 20th year as a school counselor with Forsyth County Schools.  I was previously a middle school counselor, but I love working with the 9th and 10th grade students in high school.

I look forward to being their advocate as they begin the journey through high school, and I hope that it is filled with much success, both personally and academically.

Please contact me if I can be of assistance to you or your child.

I will also be receiving my certification in mindfulness through movement this year which will allow me to provide students with a healthy mechanism to cope with anxiety and stress. Along with my responsibilities within the counseling department, I coach two sports at Lambert. I am the Head Coach for the Lambert Girl's Lacrosse team and Head Coach for the inaugural Lambert Girl's Flag Football team.
