My name is Susan Bennett. I have had the pleasure of teaching at Cumming Elementary School for 22 years. I have taught in multiple grade levels. I currently teach ESOL. I love being a part of the CES family! When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family.
My name is Asha Dalton. I began my teaching career here at Cumming Elementary where I taught 4th grade. In 2015, my husband's job relocated us to Virginia where I was a middle school ESOL teacher. We moved back to Forsyth County in the summer of 2018. The Cumming Elementary School family is so unique and special. There is nowhere else I would rather be a teacher. I know this school year is going to be great! I have a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I hold endorsements in reading, gifted education, and ESOL. My husband and I have two-year-old twin boys and a dog named Luna.
My name is Kellie Durden, and I am excited to begin my fourteenth year of teaching at Cumming Elementary! I am a graduate of the Forsyth County School System and feel blessed to teach in the county where I went to school. After high school I attended the University of South Florida, where I received my Bachelor's of Education, with ESOL Endorsement. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Andy, and our three sons.
This will be my eighth year teaching at Cumming Elementary (CES).I’ve had the pleasure of serving our ESOL population from kindergarten through fifth grade here at CES. I have a daughter who is a senior this year and is looking forward to becoming a chiropractor someday. Gardening has now become a new fun hobby during my free time in our new home. Also, I’m working on completing my Masters in education through Piedmont College.
This is my second year on the awesome CES ESOL Team. Over the last 19 years, I have taught kindergarten, EIP, and ESOL. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. I also have an ESOL Endorsement. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy going to concerts, traveling with my husband, and caring for our two cats.
Hi! I am Jennifer Tomayko and this will be my 14th year teaching! This is my first year in a support role, and I am excited to work across CES supporting our awesome teachers and students. I am originally from Savannah, GA, and I am a UGA alumni... GO DAWGS! My family includes my husband, Dan, our son, Henry (3), and our dog Bernie. In my free time, I love cheering on all of our Atlanta sports teams, hanging out with family and friends, and playing soccer and tennis. I am looking forward to an awesome school year!
My name is Edna Webb, and I currently teach ESOL. I have had the pleasure of teaching at Cumming Elementary for 27 years. I am blessed with a wonderful family that includes my husband, Ralph and two children, Ellie and Charlie. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling with my family. I am excited to be a part of the CES family.
My name is Yvonne Zalewski and this is my 28th year of teaching, with most of those years in Forsyth County. I received an undergraduate degree from John Carroll University, Masters of Education from The Ohio State University and Educational Specialist degree from Brenau University. I truly have a passion for teaching second language learners and helping instill a love of learning. I am looking forward to getting to know and work with the ELL population at Cumming Elementary School. This is going to be a fantastic school year!
