Family Engagement Coordinator
Hello I am excited to start my 8th year at CES. I am the Family Engagement Coordinator and I love working closely with our amazing families at CES! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, sipping latte’s at local coffee shops, shopping, and spending time with my husband, Shawn, and our sweet and spunky two year old, Everette. I am looking forward to a great year!
Hello Cougar Nation, I am thrilled to be a member of the CES team! I am proud to say that I have been an educator for eighteen years; most of that time has been in Forsyth County. My roles have included instructional coach, instructional technology specialist, fifth grade teacher, second grade teacher, and computer lab supervisor. I have bachelor degrees in elementary education, and psychology. I also have a master’s degree in technology in education.
Hello Cougar Nation! My name is Amy Gravitt and I am excited to be a part of this amazing school as the Co-Lead Title I Teacher. I am beginning my twelfth year in education and have previously worked at both Whitlow and Big Creek Elementary schools within Forsyth County. Throughout my years in education, I have worked as an Interrelated Resource teacher for grades K-5th, a Kindergarten and 1st grade homeroom teacher, an Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher, and an Instructional Coach. I received my undergraduate degree from North Georgia College and State University with a dual certificate in Early Childhood and Special Education. I then received my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, followed by an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and mostly recently completed my Tier I Leadership Certificate from Piedmont College. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of working with amazing students, supportive parents and an incredible staff.
