Rising 6th Grade Course Recommendations FAQs:
Can I wave my child into advanced classes?
-No, there is not a waiver process.
Will there be a second look?
-If there needs to be a second look at the courses your child was recommended for, our Lakeside teachers will take that second look once students have been with Lakeside in the Fall and the six grade teachers have been able to know your child.
How are recommendations determined?
-Recommendations are based on the following:
--Overall Grade in content area
--Motivation/work habit in content area
--Milestone scores from 4th grade (Math and ELA)
