Anna Brancheau
Hello! I am looking forward to a fun year in second grade! This is my ninth-year teaching in Forsyth County. My husband and I live in Ball Ground with our two boys who attend Vickery Creek and Vickery Creek Middle.
I have known that I wanted to be a teacher since I was young. I grew up in Douglas County and earned my Educational Specialist from the University of West Georgia! My passion is teaching reading and helping students find those special books that unlock the joy of reading for them.
When I am not teaching, you can find me camping, spending time with my family, reading, or playing with my dogs! I am looking forward to meeting my group of second graders! We are going to have a great year!

Tina Kersey
Hello I am Tina Kersey and I am a second grade teacher here at Vickery Creek Elementary. I grew up in Florida where I enjoyed the beaches, sunshine, and teaching at the same school that I attended as a child. My teaching degree is from the University of South Florida. I have been teaching for over twenty years and have loved every minute of it. I am married to Allen who runs a computer design business. I am a mom to three great kids, and I am a new grandma to twin girls. We also have a grandson on the way in December! I am also a big Tampa Bay Bucs fan and will cheer them on every year even if we don’t make playoffs. I look forward to each year when I can work with and guide each child through the tremendous growth that happens in elementary school. I am inspired and base my teaching on quote from Henry Brooks Adams : “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
