Hello, Mariner Families! My name is Amanda Edmiston. I graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education. For the past 7 years, I have worked as an Interrelated Resource teacher at Johns Creek Elementary here in Forsyth County. I have been married for 19 years and have two beautiful daughters--Ansley (19) and Ella (14). My family and I recently bought a home here in the Matt community and fell in love with the small town feel immediately. Working at Matt Elementary will be the first time I have taught in the community in which I reside, and I couldn't be more excited! Teaching is my happy place, and I am thrilled that I will get to help shape the lives of the students and families in my own community!

I have a BA of Arts in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College in NY and an  Associates in Arts from Niagra County Community College.
