Daphne Rogers - Principal
It is a true privilege to continue serving the students, staff, and families at Midway Elementary. We are here to partner with our families to ensure the growth and success of each of our Mustangs! As an educator for over 31 years, my experiences include teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade, serving as a Reading Recovery teacher, EIP teacher, Literacy & Instructional Coach, as well as an Educational Leader. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Presbyterian College, Reading Endorsement & Reading Recovery Certificate from Georgia State University, Master’s Degree from Walden University, and Leadership Endorsement from Kennesaw State University.
My passions are reading, traveling, spending precious time with my family, continuous learning, and supporting the growth & development of both students and colleagues. My husband and I are the proud parents of a son and daughter. We have called Forsyth County home for 18 years. Our son is a graduate of North Forsyth High School and our daughter is a graduate of Denmark High School. We enjoy spending family time together camping, hiking, being on the lake, at the beach, or in the mountains.
“We are all rough drafts of the people we are still becoming. Embrace uncertainty. Some of the most beautiful chapters in our lives won’t have a title until much later.” ~Bob Goff
