• G3 Day Frequently Asked Questions

    Q: What is G3?
A: G3 stands for Grizzly Great Day of Giving. It is a school-wide day of service designed to give students an up close and hands-on experience giving back to the community.

    Q: When is G3?
    A: G3 is Friday, May 8, 2020

Q: How long will students serve?
A: Students will leave the school between 9:30 and 10am, serve approximately two hours, and return to school no later than 1pm.

Q: Where will the students be serving?
A: To see where we are serving in 2020, please visit the Service Projects Page (COMING SOON)

Q: How will the students get to their service projects?
A: PGMS will provide school buses to the destinations.

Q: How does my child get to participate?
A: All students will be encouraged to participate. Parents must sign and return the school permission form to your student's Thrive teacher. Some service project organizations may require a secondary permission waiver as well; these will be provided as needed. There will be several serving opportunities at Piney Grove that day for students remaining at school.

Q: Is there a cost to students?
A: If able, a donation of $20.00 will go toward the cost of the field trip and  t-shirt worn on G3 Day

Q: Can my student choose where he or she will serve?
A: Unfortunately, no. Service projects will be assigned to each Thrive class and participating students must travel with their class.

    Q: Can parents go too?
A: Absolutely! We will need lots of parent volunteers! Please fill out the parent Volunteer Form.
