Mrs. Olivia Rhodes
Hi! My name is Olivia Rhodes, and I am joining the fourth grade team at Whitlow this year. I grew up in Milton, GA and went to school locally for elementary, middle, and high school. I graduated from Georgia State University in December of 2020, with a degree in Elementary Education and an ESOL Endorsement. After graduating, I taught third grade for three years. I am a firm believer in building strong relationships with students and fostering an environment where students feel comfortable asking critical questions.
I got married to my high school sweetheart last year, so Rhodes is a new last name for me! When I'm not at school, I am collecting houseplants (I have over 120!), meeting my monthly reading goal, and snuggling with my dog, Reily.

While this is my first year officially teaching at Whitlow, I completed my student teaching here and knew I never wanted to leave! A fun fact about me, is that this will be my first and last year as Miss Tanner, as I am recently engaged to my high school sweetheart! My teaching philosophy has a strong focus on genuine relationships, respect, and collaboration! I am excited to learn, inspire, and create with my students! Outside of teaching, you will find me spending time with my family and friends, discovering new local coffee shops, or attempting to bake!
