• 6th Grade Earth Science

DeSana’s 6th-grade curriculum emphasizes Earth Science. Our journey begins with a deep dive into the mysteries of the universe through the study of astronomy, where students will explore celestial bodies, the vastness of space, and the fundamental principles that govern the cosmos. Following this, we will turn our attention to our dynamic and constantly evolving planet. Through the study of geology, students will learn about the Earth's structure, its various landforms, and the processes that shape them over time. Hydrology will introduce them to the importance of water in all its forms, including the study of oceans, rivers, and the water cycle. Finally, meteorology will provide insights into weather patterns, climate, and atmospheric phenomena. Together, these disciplines will offer a comprehensive understanding of the natural world and our place within it.
