    Club Overview:

What is Acapella?  A Cappella, specifically the genre contemporary a cappella or pop a cappella, is a type of music in which people recreate popular music by imitating the sounds of a band such as guitars, horn lines, bass guitar, and even a drum set with their voices. Acapella is an art form, and while challenging, it is also fun, interactive, and rewarding to the musically inclined individual.

What's in it for you?  Members learn skills such as collaboration with peers, improvisation, self-evaluation, emulation of various instruments, leadership, tuning with others in a group of singers, keeping time, and providing a pleasant visual presentation.

Our group:  We are the "Melodia Tones", a student-led singing group of several talented men and women.  We sing many genres, including Pop, EDM, Soft Rock, and Soft Funk, including some older selections of music.

Our goal is to leave a legacy at Lambert High School as an exceptional performing group of musicians who strive to recreate today's music in varying styles and to be known for our diligence, style, charisma, and creativity.
