    A county-wide procedure requiring all elementary students to be tagged with green, yellow or red SOAR Student Badge.  The color of this badge strap allows the driver, as well as any sub-drivers, know if your student is allowed to walk home alone from the stop. 

    3rd through 5th grade students must also retain this tag on their bookbags.

     

     Kindergarten through 2nd grade students must be met by a parent/guardian/parent's designee who is in possession of a Student Release Pass which was forwarded to them by the parent. 

    If you, as a parent/guardian, are in need of a Student Release Pass, please email mcleveland@forsyth.k12.ga.us specifying your request.

     

     Any student, including 3rd through 5th, that has removed the SOAR Student Badge from their backpack may be returned to the school due to improper communication to the driver/sub-driver regarding his/her bus stop release.

     

     If your student has received a new backpack, please make sure to move the SOAR Student Badge to the new backpack.  Also, if your student uses alternating backpacks please remember to swap the SOAR Student Badge to the new backpack.

    Please do not change the color of or use a different strap.
