End-of-Course Testing Information
For the 2020-2021 school year, there will be no virtual EOC option - all EOCs will be administered face-to-face in the building. Testing assignments will be posted to the SFHS Student Body Group in itsLearning in April, two weeks prior to the EOC dates.
Only students taking EOCs will be attending school on testing days - all other students will have an asynchronous Online Learning Day.
On December 21, 2020 the State Board of Education voted to approve a 0.01% course grade weight at a minimum for Georgia EOC assessments for the 2020-2021 school year. Forsyth County Schools has made the decision to weight the EOC at 0.01% if the student's grade on the EOC would be detrimental to their final course average; if their EOC grade would help their course average, the EOC will be weighted at 10%.
No changes will be made to final grades of students who took the EOC in August through November Mid-Month at this time.
Students who took an EOC in the Fall Mid-Month or Winter Main administration for validation of credit are not impacted by this change in EOC percent weight. The score on the EOC is the score for the course.
