    Corinna Spurlock

    Director of Counseling Services

    Office Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm

    Biography: Corinna Spurlock has spent the last four years as a Professional School Counselor and Head Swim & Dive Coach at South Forsyth High School. During her time at SFHS, she has successfully run a comprehensive 8th-9th grade transition program, developed partnerships through the creation of a Counseling Advisory Board, and created social and emotional learning programs for staff and students. At the county level, Corinna is a member of the Student Support Leadership Team and Counseling Design Team. Corinna received her B.S. in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia and her Masters in School Counseling from Mercer University. She resides in Sugar Hill, GA with her husband, Matthew Spurlock, and two children, Rayna (2) and Mia (13). In her spare time, she loves to exercise, cook, play board games, and vacation at the beach. At this time, Corinna is committed to easing the transition of students to Denmark and excited about developing a fun-loving, collaborative, and supportive culture at the new school!



    Donovan Hollis

    Professional School Counselor

    Caseload: Kh-Ras

    Office Hours: 8am-4pm

    Biography: Donovan is so excited at the opportunity to help open Denmark as a Professional School Counselor. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Social Science Education and a Master’s in School Counseling. Donovan's professional background includes the past two years as a school counselor and girls’ soccer coach at West Forsyth High School, a year and a half of academic advising in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia, and two years of financial aid advising at Auburn University. Donovan lives in Gwinnett with his wife, a special education teacher in Gwinnett County; his son, Marshall; and two dogs, Nieko and Baylee.

    Lindsay Burnell

    Professional School Counselor

    Caseload: A-Do

    Office Hours: 8am-4pm

    Biography: Lindsay is overjoyed to join the Denmark Danes as both a professional school counselor and Head Girls Lacrosse Coach. She has called Forsyth County her home for the past 20 years and was a high school student during both the South/West and South/Lambert splits. She is an alumnus of South Forsyth High School and earned both her B.S. in psychology and M.Ed. in Professional School Counseling from Georgia Southern University. Lindsay has background in leadership development, volunteer work, yoga and other social emotional initiatives. She has worked as a Professional School Counselor in Forsyth County for 1 year at SFHS where she has spearheaded numerous SEL programs to include school wide curriculum, canine therapy, Movement & Mindfulness. She has also worked with the Freshman as they transition to high school. 





    Brittany Farnum

    Professional School Counselor

    Caseload: Rat-Z

    Office Hours: 8am-4pm

    Biography: Brittany Farnum is from the shores of Long Island, NY. She received her B.A. in English from James Madison University in Virginia, and her M.Ed in School Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. Ms. Farnum is looking forward to her first year as a professional school counselor at Denmark! She will also be coaching girls lacrosse at DHS. In her spare time, Ms. Farnum enjoys working out, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family and dogs. Ms. McMahon is excited to kick off the new school year at Denmark!
