Art is a place for students to learn to cultivate and trust their own ideas, learn new skills, and learn to be a creative problem solver. Our West Art department offers three levels of visual arts (painting and drawing) courses as well as photography, sculpture, and AP 2D and 3D art. Students in art can also join our West art club and our National Art Honor Society.
Students currently enrolled in art classes have been recommended for courses next year. New students will need to select Visual Arts 1 (our pre-requisite art course) or see their counselor to join higher level classes if they have already passed VA1. Questions? E-mail Mrs. Henke or Mrs. Holland.
