Denmark High School Fashion Marketing Pathway

Students in the Fashion Marketing pathway can take the following courses:

• Marketing Principles
• Fashion, Merchandising, and Retailing Essentials
• Advanced Fashion, Merchandising, and Retailing

ALL MARKETING STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN DECA!

DECA is an integral part of the marketing curriculum and all marketing students are encouraged to join DECA, An Association of Marketing Students. Membership enables students to participate in DECA activities which include but are not limited to: DECA competitions, field trips and receive National DECA and Georgia DECA membership scholarships. DECA, the student marketing organization, is co-curricular which means that the course requires students to participate in DECA experiences while enrolled.  DECA provides students with opportunities to earn community service hours, compete in marketing and business events, learn leadership and communication skills, and interact with local business professionals.  DECA students gain confidence in themselves and their ability to effectively transition from school to the world of work.
