Amy has been teaching since 2012, and has been leading the choral program at Forsyth Central since 2017.  Before joining the FCHS staff, Amy taught elementary music at Haw Creek in Forsyth County and White Sulphur in Hall County.

Amy received her bachelor’s degree in Music Education and master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University (Go Eagles!) and her Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. During her time at Southern, Amy performed with the University Singers and Chorale choral ensembles. With these groups she toured Europe and performed in Budapest, Vienna, and Prague.
