We Need Mentors!
Little Mill Middle School's Mentoring Program needs your help. We need caring individuals to mentor students. A mentor provides a one-to-one relationship with a child, which offers a caring and supportive relationship with an adult role model. Becoming a mentor involves committing to 30 minutes per week during school hours with a student for a school year. - Mentor Training Sessions- Mentors are required to complete a background check and attend a training session at a central location or a local school setting.
As a mentor, you can read with the student, play a game, do an activity, take a walk or just listen. The supportive relationship is the key to mentoring. Our goal is to link with the community in providing mentors to students.
