What is speech and debate?

A combination of public speaking, arguing, and acting into one competitive sport.

Why should you join speech and debate?

• Opportunity to meet other debaters and compete

• Improve reading and writing skills

• Work as a team and build relationships

How can I get involved?

Practice! Work on your event at home, and go over it with other debaters at the meetings. There will be a plethora of events to choose from!

Meetings and times -First Interest Meeting on Tuesday 9/10 at 8:00 am. All grade levels are welcome to join us! We will discuss the details and responsibilities of the debate team. We will have tryouts for the debate team later in the month of September.
