My name is Jami Cobbett. I will be working as a Paraprofessional in the MI classroom for grades 3-5 this year. Before working at Matt, I worked at Liberty Middle School as a Paraprofessional in the EBI classroom. I am currently attending college at Georgia Southwestern State University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. My husband Shaun and I have been married for 25 years. We have five wonderful children: Ryan (24), Chloe (22), Logan (18), Caden (15) and Mason (9). Logan and Caden were both prior students at Matt and Mason currently attends. We are huge sports fans! The Iowa Hawkeyes are our favorite college football team as well as the men’s and women’s basketball teams! We love the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Braves, and now the Indiana Fever! In my free time, I enjoy going on long walks with one of our 4 dogs, hanging out with family and friends, and reading. We also love all things Disney and the beach! I am looking forward to a great year at Matt!

Welcome! This is my 8^th year at Matt, first as a substitute teacher, then as a Specialized Instruction Instructional Assistant (I know, it's a mouthful 🙂). My wonderful husband and I have an amazing daughter who's a high school junior. I'm a self-proclaimed bibliomaniac and love to travel with my family every chance we get!

While I have enjoyed getting to know so much of the faculty and student body through my time subbing here at Matt Elementary for the last couple of years, I am delighted to be rejoining the Special Education team this year as an Instructional Aide. I have worked as an Instructional Assistant in both Kindergarten and Special Education in years past. 

I have a son in middle school who keeps my husband and me busy with his sports and music. I love spending time with my family outdoors, and I love to knit.

I have been a Special Education Instructional lo Assistant for 10+ years, mostly here at Matt.  I love working with children with different abilities as it is incredibly rewarding, and I've got one of my own. When not here, I’m busy with my family finding some outdoor adventure.

This is my second year as an Instructional Assistant at Matt ES but my first year in K-2 Special Education. I love my Matt Family! I love spending time with my 2 teenage sons and my little dog. I enjoy driving my car to new places, listening to music and being outdoors, running on a trail or just hanging out at the lake. Blessed beyond measure!

Hello!  This is my first year as a ACA Instructional Aid here at Matt.  Prior to this year, I was a substitute teacher in Special Ed for about 6 years.  My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years.  We have 2 girls in high school, two dogs, and two cats.  We LOVE soccer and love to attend and watch Atlanta United!  I am super excited to be at Matt this year!

Hi! My name is Lindsey Winters. This is my first year as an Instructional Assistant in Skills Based Autism at Matt. I have a teaching degree but I was a stay-at-home mom for many years before jumping back into the education world. I love coffee, reading and University of Alabama football - Roll Tide!
