• North Forsyth High School BETA Club Information

The Beta Club at NFHS is a chapter of the National Beta Club.  The purpose of the Beta Club is to recognize academic achievement, promote the ideals of character, develop leadership skills and encourage service involvement.  Our tenets are character, leadership and academics.  The Beta Club is a student-centered organization open to students in grades 10 through 12 who maintain a GPA of at least 3.5.

The Beta Club is a nationally renowned service organization that builds character and leadership skills through school and community service opportunities. Sophomores will receive an invitation to join based on their academic standing at the beginning of their sophomore year.  Juniors and seniors who are not currently members and have a 3.5 GPA and are interested in joining the Beta Club at North may apply for admission during the admission window (usually during August and September).

Yearly dues for new members are $30; yearly dues for returning members are $20.  The money is used to pay national dues, purchase a club shirt for that year, buy honor cords for graduating seniors, conduct an Induction ceremony in the fall, and buy supplies for service projects.  Other Beta Club merchandise is available for members online through the BETA Club website.

DATES FOR MEETINGS:  We currently do not hold face-to-face meetings.  Information regarding upcoming projects is posted on our ItsLearning Page and sent out through the Remind app.

I'M A MEMBER....NOW WHAT?  How do I get the most up to date information?

Once you’ve been approved for membership into Beta, you will be added to the Beta Club ItsLearning Page.  There, you will find information about upcoming service opportunities, how to submit proof of service hours, and a link to a google spreadsheet where you can check how many service hours you currently have recorded.
