Club Overview:  

Mu Alpha Theta, the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society, was formed in 1957 at the University of Oklahoma. We are dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students. Currently, more than 124,000 students are Mu Alpha Theta members at more than 2,633 schools in the United States and in 23 foreign countries.

Mu Alpha Theta is a service organization and has a service requirement to stay active in the club

Requirements to join:

1. You must have an overall GPA of 3.0.

2. You must have an overall mathematics GPA of 3.5 or higher in accelerated classes or a 4.0 in on-level mathematics courses.

3. You must have completed or be enrolled in your third year of college preparatory mathematics. For 2020-2021, only eligible 11th and 12th grade students will be considered.
