Step 1: Knowing What to Take
Before registration opens, you will want to find out a little more about what courses are available to your student...

- Each subject area can be viewed using the menu on the left of the page.
- Most of your main academic area courses (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) will be recommended by your current teachers.

Things to Consider...
- What credits are REQUIRED for graduation?
- If you want to be eligible for HOPE or Zell Miller Scholarship, one of the requirements is that you need to have taken 4 HOPE RIGOR COURSES by graduation.

Step 3: Apply for Elective Courses (due dates vary)
Some elective courses require applications and teacher recommendations to be completed. These applications must be received by their specific due date.

Step 4: Register for Elective Courses (FEBRUARY 18 - 24)
On February 18th, 2021, at 8 AM, Elective Registration opens on Parent Portal.

On February 24th, 2021, at 4 PM, Elective Registration closes on Parent Portal.

Step 5: Waive In/Out of Course Recommendations (MARCH 8 - 15)
During registration, we make every attempt to schedule every student into all of the courses they request; but this often can't be done for everyone.
- If you have a course on your schedule that you need to change for some reason, you will need to complete the Waiver Form. This link will only be available from March 8th at 8AM to March 15 at 4 PM).
- Note: Not every course waiver request will be granted.
