    I am so excited to be at Poole's Mill Elementary this year!  I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a reading endorsement from the University of North Georgia. I also hold a master's degree in Elementary Education from Piedmont College. In addition to my degrees, I hold endorsements in gifted education and ESOL. I believe that interaction and relationship building is the cornerstone of learning. I am very excited to get to know all of the students this year!

     I have been teaching in Forsyth County since 2016 previously I was a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. I have taught Kindergarten,1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I have also been a Title 1, Special Education Interrelated, and English Language Learner teacher. I have an A.A. from Young Harris College, a B.A. from the University of Georgia in History with a minor in education, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College, and a Specialist degree in Instruction and Curriculum from Piedmont College. I am currently in the Specialist’s program in Curriculum at Piedmont College. I have certifications in Special Education K-12, Reading Specialist, K-12 History, Gifted, and ESOL. I believe that success is built through developing meaningful relationships with my students.
