Claire Adams Hi, I am Ms. Adams and I am so excited to be joining the pirate crew this school year! I recently graduated from the University of North Georgia with my degree in Early Childhood and Special Education and a reading endorsement. I was born and raised in Forsyth County and am so excited to be back and teaching here. I enjoy backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking, and reading. I am looking forward to an amazing school year!

I'm Kim Cornelison, and for the past ten years I've been on an amazing journey as an educator and have had the joy of teaching ESOL and 3rd grade students. My passion for teaching led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia, where I also earned endorsements in reading and ESOL. Additionally, I hold a Math Endorsement. I earned my Master's degree from the University of West Georgia. Now, I'm eagerly looking forward to joining the Poole's Mill Pirate family as a 4th grade teacher, ready to embark on another exciting chapter of learning together. I can't wait to meet my new students and help them discover the joy of learning!

I came back to teach in Forsyth County and while I started at the middle school level, I am so excited to be back in my original passion of elementary school here at Poole's Mill! I love to camp, garden, and run—but I enjoy restful days at home as well. I can't wait to meet my new students and help them discover their potential as resilient and curious problem-solvers. Go Pirates!

I have been teaching in Forsyth County since 2007. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. This year, I am excited to be a part of the 4th grade team again! My husband and I enjoy hiking and camping with our children and dog. I also love reading and spending time with family. I love being a part of the Pirate family!

I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Family and Human Development, I went on to get my Masters in Elementary Education. This will be my 2nd year of teaching, and last year I was a SPED teacher. I have a strong passion for learning, and I want to instill that same passion in my students. I want to empower every child to be confident and know that they are important to our classroom and community. When I am not at school, I enjoy time with my family. I have been married to Mr. Fuller for 23 years. We have three children, Alexis (24) who just graduated from Kennesaw State and will be working in Forensic science, Lorelai (19) who just graduated high school and will attend LSU this fall to become an Aquatic Veterinarian, and Austin (13) who will be in 8th grade at Liberty Middle. We also have two dogs, two cats, a bunny, and six chickens. I also love to read and craft in my free time.

I received my B.S in Early Childhood Education, my M.Ed in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and I also have my Gifted Education Endorsement. I have 18 years of teaching experience in grades 4, 5, 6, and 7. My husband and I have 2 daughters who are both Pirates as well. We love to spend our weekends going on adventures and traveling to new places every chance we get!

I have a passion for reading and writing and love diving into a good book! I graduated from The University of Georgia with both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. I also have a Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading and Gifted Endorsement. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband, baby boy Beckham, and our two dogs, Charlie and Captain! It truly is GREAT to be a Pirate!

I am very excited to be teaching 4th grade next year! I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Kennesaw State University. I have a passion for teaching, and my mission is to create a safe and engaging classroom where students can explore new ideas, build relationships, and gain the confidence they need to succeed. I’ve lived in Forsyth County with my husband since 2009, and we have a rising 4th grader here at Poole’s Mill and a rising 7th grader at Liberty Middle. I love spending time with my family playing board games, having family fun days, and movie nights. I can’t wait for another fantastic school year!

I graduated with my B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College in 2005. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia in 2010. I have been teaching in Forsyth County since 2005. I taught 1st and 2nd grades at Daves Creek Elementary and Kindergarten at Silver City Elementary. I have been at Poole's Mill since we opened and have taught EIP for the past 3 years. This will be my first year teaching 4th grade, and I am beyond excited about getting back into the classroom! I have been married to my wonderful husband, Stephen, for 17 years, and we have two beautiful children, Emerson and Chase. My name is Tammie Vess, and I am a proud member of the 4th grade team at Poole’s Mill! I have been teaching for 24 years and have taught Pre K, 2nd and 4th grades in Gwinnett, Fulton, and Forsyth Counties. I grew up in Forsyth County and went through school here as well. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Shorter College and hold an ESOL endorsement. I live in Cumming with my 9-year-old son, Sebastian, who is a Pirate as well! I look forward to creating an exciting and inviting environment in my classroom where my students are excited about coming every day to learn. I’m so happy to be a Pirate!
