To promote academic excellence by encouraging academic competition, students compete with other schools in our district in the page academic bowl tournament and in other local competitions on Saturdays. The Academic Team practices twice weekly in the mornings with competitions held throughout the year.  Tryouts are typically in late August or early September with a listening and written exam in several areas of knowledge. Students at all grade levels are encouraged to try out!
