My name is Jamie White. I have been married for 27 years to my husband, Jim and we have three daughters Megan (25), Avery (22) and Ellie (16). I am a graduate of Georgia State University where I earned my BS in Early Childhood Education. I received my master’s degree in Early Childhood from Piedmont College and my Educational Specialist degree (Ed. S.) from Nova Southeastern University in Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction. I was trained in Reading Recovery in 2000 and have a Reading Endorsement, ESOL Endorsement and Gifted Endorsement and Special Education endorsement. I just completed my Leadership Endorsement through Metro RESA in May, 2020.. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, EIP Reading/Math, ESOL, Gifted and Special Ed and been a Literacy Coach (K-5) over the past 26 years. I am thrilled to be a Forsyth County employee and feel very blessed to be a part of the Sharon Elementary staff. In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends! I’m looking forward to another wonderful year!
