EOC Physical Science (high school credit course)

Students will explore concepts in chemistry and physical science. This course is the “backbone” of high school chemistry and physics. Students use computation skills for calculating force, speed, acceleration, weight, work, mechanical advantage, density, voltage and heat lost/gained. Much of this course is teacher guided, but students will be required to use inquiry and prediction skills on occasion. Students will take the GA Milestones EOC for physical science at the end of the year which counts for 20% of their course average.
