    Ms. Walters

    Ms. Walters is the 6th grade counselor at DeSana. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies from the University of North Georgia. She then gained her master's degree from The Citadel in Charleston, SC. She loves to read, spend time outside with her dog Rue, and go to the beach! She is excited to begin her 3rd year at DeSana.

    Ms. Tarver

    Ms. Tarver is our counselor for 7th grade. She is a transplant from Los Angeles, CA and has worked in the field of Education both as a K-8th grade school counselor and 5th grade teacher. Ms. Tarver enjoys dancing (especially the hula), musical theatre, reading, and spending time with her daughters.

    Mrs. Coats

    Mrs. Coats is the 8th grade counselor at DeSana. She has a BS in Psychology from Berry College and a MEd in School Counseling from Auburn University. She is beginning her 10th year as a middle school counselor. Mrs. Coats loves middle schoolers and is excited to serve the students at DeSana Middle! Outside of DMS, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, running, and baking.

    Mrs. Rosario

    Mrs. Rosario is our amazing counseling secretary and family liaison. Originally from Puerto Rico, Ms. Rosario has worked in Forsyth County for over 7 years. She is extremely passionate about helping our community thrive in every possible way. This is her 2nd year at DeSana. Outside of school, she likes to travel and master DIY projects. She loves spending time with her husband and two daughters.
