Welcome to Computer Science! I look forward to helping your student(s) have a better understanding of the following concepts throughout their time in middle school: employability, hardware and software, creating digital artifacts(ie, posters websites, and game design), cybersecurity/privacy, and to design and debug computer programming!  Below are the standards linked by grade level for this course as well as a short synopsis of the information that your child will learn during this 9 weeks course.  

6th grade curriculum This course will provide an exploratory foundation in information systems, networking, and cybersecurity.

7th grade curriculum This course will provide an exploratory foundation in computer programming.

8th grade curriculum  This course will provide an exploratory foundation in design and development of websites and games.
