Math Competition Team

Are you interested in competition math? Find out what opportunities Hendricks offers!  The HMS math competition team is open for all 6th-8th grade students to try out.  Our current team has 87 students, selected by their mathematical strength demonstrated during tryouts. The competitions are mainly held during the school year at our Thursday morning meetings at 7:45 a.m. and occasionally during Flex Time. A few of the competitions take place on Saturday mornings at local schools or virtually.  

To sign-up to tryout for the HMS Math team, click this link , scan the QR code below or go to the HMS website, club section-Math Team and complete the form before Tuesday, August 27.  

Tryouts for the math competition team will be held Thursday, August 29th.   The members selected will receive an invitation to join and a calendar with upcoming meeting dates. There will be a fee of $100 to join the Math Team.
