Welcome to Forsyth Central HS! I am proud to have been appointed principal beginning June 1, 2021 after serving as an assistant principal for eight years prior. I am honored to serve in this role and believe that this school is a place where parents want to send their children, where students feel connected and identify with their school, and where teachers are empowered to lead.
I encourage you to join our team in supporting the C-House with your attendance at as many events as possible. Our students are among the brightest and best in the country, and we are proud of our various academic, extra-curricular, and co-curricular opportunities that they are involved in. Angela Hurt - Assistant Principal
Hello, my name is Angela Hurt, and I am excited to be moving into an Assistant Principals position after serving as an Assistant Administrator for four years prior. It is an honor to serve in a school where students and teachers feel like family and are connected to each other and love being a part of the heart of the Forsyth community.
Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal, I was a teacher here at FCHS for four years and served as the head girls basketball coach for all 8 years. I am originally a native of Sweetwater, TN, before coming to Georgia to play basketball on scholarship at Georgia State University and earning my Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies. I then began my teaching career at Woodland High School in Cartersville, located in Bartow County. While I was teaching at Woodland High school, I graduated with my master’s in Education Administration from Jacksonville State University located in Jacksonville, Alabama. After being at Woodland High School for six years I left to become the head girls’ basketball coach at Alpharetta High School where I served for nine years before becoming part of the Forsyth Central Family.
I look forward to becoming more embedded in the Forsyth Central community and supporting our families, students, and teachers.

Welcome to the C-House! I am excited to be starting my second year as an assistant principal at FCHS. My career as an educator began at Gwinnett County Public Schools where I worked as an English teacher at South Gwinnett, North Gwinnett, and Gwinnett Online Campus. Before joining the C-House administrative team I spent 7 years at South Forsyth High School as a teacher, ITS, and administrator. I am now entering my 24th year in education and my 8th year in Forsyth County Schools.
I value education and believe that through the opportunities afforded to us by education we can make an indelible mark on the lives of our students, families, and community members. I am not only an educator in this county, but also a parent: my daughter Sarah is a 2021 graduate of South Forsyth High School; my son, Griffin, is a student here at the C-House, and my son, Owen is a student at West Forsyth High School. So, as anyone can see it is important to me to provide a quality education to all students. It is my intention to serve, to educate, to inspire and to empower our staff and students so that we can all thrive in our county and beyond.
I look forward to meeting each of you---Go, Dawgs!

Welcome to Forsyth Central High School! It is with great pleasure that I enter my first year as an Assistant Administrator, while simultaneously working as The Humanities Academy Coordinator and AP Language and Composition teacher.
Although I will be just beginning my journey into administration, this will be my nineteenth year as an educator, the last seven of which I spent at my home away from home, Forsyth Central High School.
My passion for education is not only derived from my own positive academic experience, but also from my desire to play a small part in improving the world for my children, and the children of others. People are fond of saying, “It takes a village,” but I believe “It takes a family”—and that is what is present within FCHS among administrators, teachers, staff and students. Together, we can all work to lift up the next generation.
