Ms. Tanya Cheeves
I am a true believer that learning should be both fun and challenging! I received my Bachelor's degree and Masters of Education degree from Georgia College and State University and have over 30 years of teaching experience. I enjoy cooking, reading, and traveling. I believe in providing challenging opportunities and new experiences that will help students become lifelong problem solvers.
"We imagine a school in which students and teachers excitedly and joyfully stretch themselves to their limits in pursuit of projects built on their own visions … not one that that merely succeeds in making apathetic students satisfy minimal standards."

Ms. Elizabeth Stevens
I am looking forward to teaching gifted resource this year. This is my 24th year of teaching. I am a gifted certified teacher with experience in grades 1st through 5th. I have been part of the Shiloh Point family since the opening of the school. My husband and I live in Cumming with our son, who also attends Shiloh Point. I am originally from Florida, but I have lived in Georgia for over 20 years. I enjoy reading, taking walks with my family, and traveling. I believe in providing an environment to promote student ownership of learning. Student ownership leads to a deeper learning, independence, and responsibility.
