Unfortunately, the regulations and guidelines for COVID-19 are ever changing as more research is conducted and we monitor the cases within the school district. Please check the link below frequently for the most recent COVID-19 data, updates, and policies to be enforced in Forsyth County. Covid Cases are reported daily for each school starting Monday, August 16th.
If your child tests positive, they MUST quarantine for 10 days.
If your child presents to the clinic with ANY of the below symptoms after being reported as a direct exposure, they will be excluded from school for 10 days from the onset of symptoms. This will be considered a “suspected case” and isolation is required.
- Nasal congestion or runny nose
- Sore throat
- Loss of appetite
- Muscle Pain or Soreness
- Shortness of Breath
- New Loss of taste or smell
If your child is COVID positive, a suspected case, or choosing to self-quarantine, your child will access their learning materials through itslearning in order to remain up to date with schoolwork.
