I am beginning my 14th year at Silver City and I am so excited to serve on the EIP team again this year. During my time at Silver City, I have taught fifth grade, second grade, special education, and EIP. I have a degree from Samford University in Early Childhood/Elementary/Special Education and a Master's degree- in Elementary Education from the University of North Georgia. When I am not at school I love to read, bake, work in my yard, and watch the Braves and the Dawgs!

Hi, my name is Julie Guy. I was born and raised in Atlanta and now live in Dahlonega with my husband and son. Our son is starting college this year, and our girls are grown and living on their own in Cumming. We have a dog named Bodie and a bird named Rio. This will be my 23rd year teaching. All of my experience has been in Forsyth County, and I have taught at Silver City since we opened in 2006. It is a wonderful community for learning!

Hi! My name is Jodie Roush. I'm excited to be joining the Silver City community as a part-time EIP teacher. This will be my 32nd year of teaching (26 of my years have been with Forsyth County Schools). I have taught Kindergarten-3rd grade as a classroom teacher and 1st-5th grades as an EIP teacher. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia), my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and my Specialist's degree in Curriculum & Instruction both from Piedmont College. I also have my Math and ESOL endorsements. My husband and I have been blessed with 2 wonderful children. Our son, Dalton is a senior at Kennesaw State University and our daughter, Kaley, is a sophomore at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. In my free time, I enjoy walking, cheering on the DAWGS, and spending time with my family. I'm looking forward to a great school year!
