My name is Julie Miles and I’m the ESOL teacher. This is my 17th year as a teacher. I have lived in Florida for thirteen years and we decided to move Georgia where my husband grew up. I have two little girls who are 7 and 9. We also have two dogs named Bear and Bella. My family loves the outdoors, and love to go to Lake Lanier.

This is my 16th year teaching middle school. I originally earned my Bachelors degree in Sociology at Rollins College in Central Florida. I went back to school and earned my Masters degree in Teaching from Brenau, and am currently finishing my Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership through Valdosta. When I'm not at school, I love to be with my family outside. On the weekends you will find me in the North Georgia Mountains spending time hiking or exploring. I also love to read and play with my dogs, Willow and Millie.
