I'm so excited to officially say, "I'm a NightHawk!" I'm coming to you from the other side of the country, Sumner, Washington. I've been teaching since 2013, with a BA from Pacific Lutheran University and MA from Concordia Lutheran University. Outside of school, I spend my time with my husband, four children, one dog and a cat. We are boaters and can't wait to spend time on the local lakes. I'm new to the area. If you have any place that I should see or try, please let me know!

Katie Liles
Hello! My name is Katie Liles, and I’ll be an IRR teacher this year at New Hope.
I attended Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville where I earned both my Bachelors Degree and Masters of Teaching Degree. Before joining New Hope, I was a 6th grade Math IRR teacher at South Forsyth Middle School.
I grew up in Sharpsburg GA. During college I played soccer for both the collegiate and club level. I met my husband there who also played club soccer. Fast forward, we have lived in Cumming for the past 8 years. We have a daughter Parker (2) and a son Jaxton (4) and two awesome pups; Goose and Bailey.
When I have free time, I enjoy reading, spending time outside with my kids or escaping to the gym for a good workout.
After being in middle school the past five years I really look forward to being back in the elementary setting. I am excited to work side by side with some awesome teachers and go to school with my son who will also be a Nighthawk.
