Forsyth County Education Foundation 2024-25 Staff Scholarships Now Available: Beginning in 2022, the Forsyth County Education Foundation began giving out staff scholarships from funds raised during the iChallenge to paraprofessionals becoming teachers and teachers becoming school counselors where over 30 scholarships have been awarded. This year, the iChallenge transitioned to an in-person 5K Race/Fun Run with the Dr. Jim and Peggie Morrow Glow Run. The Foundation is now expanding its funding to scholarships for teachers pursuing advanced degrees, recognizing the vital role of professional development in teacher retention. The shift to support advanced degrees for current educators expands the impact of the foundation and aligns with the Forsyth County Schools’ Strategic Plan in the goal areas of Staff Recruitment and Development and the Learner Experience.

We are pleased to announce the third round of Forsyth County Education Foundation Staff Scholarships are now open. Using funds raised from the 2024 Dr. Jim and Peggie Morrow Glow Run, the foundation will offer up to fifteen (15) $2,500 staff scholarships.
