Beta Club seeks to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among students.

SFMS Junior Beta Club is a service organization for 7th and 8th graders. Members meet on the last Friday of each month at 8:00. Our student officers plan and lead these meetings, which include club business, planning upcoming events, and usually fun games.

Beta Club raises money for local and national charities, as well as doing service by collecting food for local food banks and cleaning teachers' classrooms.

Rising 7th graders may apply for membership in the second semester of their 6th grade year. Applicants must gain recommendations from two of their teachers and answer some essay questions. All students must have at least an overall 3.5 average.
