¡Hola Lakeside! My name is Sarah Woods. I fell in love with Spanish as a high school student in Louisiana. I later earned my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, and then solidified my desire to be a teacher while working in Guatemala. I moved to Georgia and completed a Master of Arts in Teaching at Emory. This will be my 14th year teaching and 9th year in Forsyth County Schools. I am excited to help introduce students to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture; I love helping students broaden their horizons through language! When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, being outside, and spending time with my husband and two young sons.
