Regional Drill Competition 2023
On January 28, 2023, the Regional Drill Competition of the 2022-2023 year was held at North Forsyth High School for the first time ever. Over 20 schools in Region 2 traveled to NFHS to compete for the chance to go to the National MCJROTC Drill Championship in Virginia. The competition was separated into Armed and Unarmed events. After 9 hours of events, the winning teams were announced to be South Iredell, Nation Ford, and Clearwater High School.
Though NFHS did not receive trophies, the display of commitment and talent from our drill team was unique and unmatched in its own way. Our Armed Exhibition took the audiences breath away, and Inspection went very well. Congratulations to all the winning teams and all other teams in attendance.
