• Jennifer Rotunda grew up in Lynchburg, VA and has resided in Forsyth County since 2008 with her husband & 2 children. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina & a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. Jennifer has a background in family counseling & is a National Certified Counselor & Licensed Professional Counselor in GA. This is her tenth year as a School Counselor in Forsyth County, and she has experience working with students from grades K-12. Jennifer is very excited to be joining the West Counseling team & to meet her students & families! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, cooking & watching her children play high school lacrosse.

     

  • Lisa Golden is originally from Northern Virginia.  She attended Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelor's degree in Arts with minors in Education, Math, and Spanish.  She earned a Master's degree from George Mason University in School and Agency Counseling.  Lisa is a National Certified Counselor and has worked a total of 15 years in the school system and 5 years running groups in a Women's Shelter.

    Lisa has lived in Ga for the last 15 years and enjoys traveling and lake life with her husband Craig. They have 2 daughters (24 and 22).

    Lisa has  spent the last 3 years at VCMS and is looking forward to continuing working with the West Community!

  • Sharon is a native of Alliance, Ohio and graduated with her B.S. in Communications, Theatre, and English Education from Bowling Green State University.  After several years of working with students and their families both in and out of the classroom in Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Indiana, she earned her MS in School Counseling from Capella University and began working as a Counselor in South Florida.  This is her sixth year at West and her eighth as a Counselor.  Outside of school, she serves as a Designer, Choreographer, Clinician and Adjudicator for several Marching Arts organizations across the United States.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, The Dave Matthews Band, and cheering for her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. 

  • Shawn Gooding is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University for her undergraduate degree.  She attended the University of Georgia for both her Master’s and Specialist’s degrees in Professional School Counseling.  This is her 2nd year at West.  She enjoys reading and spending time with loved ones in her free time.   

     

  • Caroline Hood grew up in Cumming, Georgia and graduated from North Forsyth High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama in Human Development and Family Studies and earned her Master’s degree from Albany State University in School Counseling. This is her first year as a school counselor. In her free time, Ms. Hood enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and going on the lake. Ms. Hood is very excited for this school year and to meet all her students. Go Wolverines!

  • Donovan Hollis grew up in Valley, AL. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in Secondary Social Science Education and earned his Master’s degree, also from Auburn University, in School Counseling (War Eagle!), and then followed that up with a Tier I Certification in School Leadership and Administration from the University of North Georgia. In his free time, Mr. Hollis enjoys being with his family and friends and attending all Auburn home games.

  • Brenda Anderson is new to Forsyth County from Bonaire, GA in Houston County. While in Houston County, she worked for the school system there for sixteen years. Eight years as a Special Education Paraprofessional and eight as a Secretary. She enjoys spending time with her family, and nine grandchildren.

  • Shirley is from Brooklyn, New York and has been with Forsyth County for 14 years. She studied Speech Language Pathology at Queens College in New York. Mrs. Santiago is coming back to us from being a Sales Tax Analyst. This will be her fifth year as a registrar. Mrs. Santiago lives with her husband, Rafael who is a counselor at East Forsyth High and her daughter Isabella who will be attending University of Georgia.  Her son Jared is a Georgia State University graduate and lives in New York. She enjoys traveling and everything family and friends.
