High School Pathways
It's time to talk with your 8th grader about high school pathways! All Forsyth County high schools offer pathways that help students with the skills necessary to meet world-class standards, successfully continue life-long learning, and enter the marketplace as productive citizens. FCS offers a variety of career pathways that meet the demands of the modern workplace by equipping students for college and career. Discover the pathways available at all Forsyth County high schools.
Denmark High School is the feeder high school for DeSana Middle School. Explore Denmark's CTAE pathway guide. Pay attention to the pathway courses identified for each pathway. Students who wish to complete the desired pathway must complete all of the courses selected for that pathway before graduating. Pathway courses are considered electives in a high school schedule, and students generally take one course a year.
Out of District
Students wishing to complete a pathway not offered at Denmark High School MUST complete the out of district form. This includes students interested in going to Aliance Academy. The window to complete the out of district form for the 2024-2025 school year is October 18 - November 17. Please see here for more information.
