• ImageMs. Amanda Larbus began teaching in the Fall of 2023 after graduating with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of North Georgia.  She is a Forsyth County schools graduate from North Forsyth High School.  Ms. Larbus loves the community focus in our area, which is what attracted her to working at East Forsyth HS. She prioritizes a welcoming environment in her classroom where students feel comfortable communicating with each other and with her.  Art is all about growth, and with the projects that she teaches, students are able to see and reflect on their progress through the program.   It is important to Ms. Larbus for her students to learn to take pride in their work and find their voice through learning how to think critically and creatively.  On a personal level, Ms. Larbus loves Halloween, fashion and all whimsical things. Her interests are illustration, sculpture and Art History.

    She teaches Visual Arts 1, Ceramics 1, 2 & 3 and AP 3D.
