This is my 23rd year working with Forsyth County Schools. My wife Caroline and I have 3 wonderful children. Logan has just graduated from Stanford University and is working on his MBA. Marissa is a Freshman at San Jose State University and Shay is a 7th grader at Lakeside. This is my 17th year as the principal of Daves Creek, and my 18th year overall as a principal. I have experience working at all levels of education, including at the college level. That gives me a great K-12 perspective. I am looking forward to yet another amazing year at Daves Creek!

I am excited to work with the students, staff, and families of the Daves Creek community as Assistant Principal. I have been a part of the Daves Creek Family since 2007, both as a K-5 special education teacher and school counselor. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia , Master’s and Specialist Degree From the University of West Alabama and a Leadership endorsement from the University of West Georgia. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and going to the lake with my family.

I am thrilled to be joining the Daves Creek family this year as Assistant Principal! Forsyth County Schools has been my home for many years and is where I have taught at both the elementary and middle school levels, and I have I served as an Assistant Administrator and an Instructional Coach. I hold a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Early Childhood and a Specialist degree in Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction. My husband and I have a daughter, Summer, and our family would not be complete without the love of our Golden Retriever, Lettie.

This year begins my 19th year in education. I am currently the Instructional Coach for ARC and literacy at Daves Creek. I have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Coaching and Teacher Leader certificate, and a Gifted Endorsement. I’ve been a general education teacher, a gifted teacher, and coached classroom teachers. I have two children and have been married for 33 years.

I am so excited to be a part of the Daves Creek Leadership team. I have called Daves Creek home since 2015. I have worked at Daves Creek as a second-grade teacher as well as the Early Intervention Program (EIP) Specialist. My husband and I have two boys, Everett and Brock, who make our lives complete (and busy!). I’m looking forward to a wonderful year.
