Industry Certified Programs

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE)’s Industry Certification program for Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) is a state-level initiative designed to ensure that high school CTAE programs meet rigorous, real-world standards set by business and industry partners. It’s an important part of Georgia’s effort to prepare students for career success by aligning what they learn in school with the skills employers need.

Industry Certified means that a CTAE program at a school has been formally reviewed and approved by both the Georgia Department of Education and leaders from relevant business and industry sectors. When a program earns this distinction, it receives a “stamp of excellence,” signifying that the curriculum, instruction, equipment, and teacher qualifications meet current industry expectations.
