Are you ready to begin a rewarding career as an educator?

The Forsyth Teacher Academy is a job-embedded, evidence-based program for teacher preparation. This program is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission as an alternative route to certification (GaTAPP). We provide qualified candidates with a route to obtaining teacher certification in their degree or professional field. Designed as a 1 - 2 year program, candidates will teach with the support of a clinical coach, mentor, administrator, and job-alike specialist while engaging in professional learning and pedagogy seminars. Qualified applicants must complete Steps 1-3 in the Forsyth Teacher Academy Self-Checklist before applying to the program.
