The Forsyth Teacher Academy is a job-embedded, evidence-based program for teacher preparation. This program is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission as an alternative route to certification (GaTAPP). We support qualified candidates serving in certified teaching roles in Forsyth County Schools by providing a clear pathway to teacher certification aligned with their degree or professional expertise. Designed as a 1 - 2 year program, candidates will teach with the support of a clinical coach, mentor, administrator, and job-alike specialist while engaging in professional learning and pedagogy seminars.
