Endorsements

The Forsyth Teacher Academy is proud to offer 5 endorsements through the FCS Endorsement Program: Online Teaching, English to Speakers of Other Languages, K-5 Mathematics, Teacher Support & Coaching and Gifted in-field endorsement. Our endorsement courses are led by highly qualified FCS instructors to certified employees in the district who hold a current Standard Georgia Professional certificate and receive a recommendation from their principal. Coursework is provided both face-to-face and online through Canvas. If you have any questions, please contact Laura Adams.

Metro RESA Dyslexia Endorsement (offered in FCS) is led by highly qualified FCS instructors to certified employees in the district who hold a current Standard Georgia Professional certificate and receive a recommendation from their principal.

Applications for the 25-26 FCS Endorsement Program and Metro RESA Dyslexia Endorsement will open Monday, March 3, 2025. Interested candidates in the district can sign up through Kick-up.

Metro RESA Dyslexia Endorsement (offered in FCS)

The Dyslexia Endorsement offered through Metro RESA is a GaPSC approved preparation program that provides approved candidates with the coursework and related field experience required to add the Dyslexia Endorsement to a current standard Georgia Professional Certificate.  We are pleased to be able to offer this endorsement exclusively to teachers in Forsyth County for the 2025-2026 school year.
