ME is an academic, self-paced, individualized, evening high school that serves students who are seeking a non-traditional school environment and who desire a Georgia high school diploma.

ME also serves students who need to make up missed credit from their regular high school, enabling them to stay on academic track and graduate with their peers.

ME is a year-round high school that offers all Georgia required curriculum courses as well as a variety of vocational courses and state-mandated testing. Mountain Education can serve students who want/need to complete a limited number of courses over the summer months. These students will not be Program Students but will be considered “Tuition Students.” Recommended coursework for Tuition Students can be either: 1) Credit Recovery, or 2) Advance/Initial Credit. Tuition will be required for each credit. Parents will be responsible for payment directly to ME ($250 per half credit; $500 per full credit). Half of the tuition payment must be made prior to the student beginning coursework. ME will not allow these students to attend without the consent of the district--referral from base school must be received by May 30.
